Melon Pan Cookies - Minis

Melon "pan" (or bread) are usually found in Japanese bakeries and can be described as a lovely sweet bread shaped like a melon. These do not have a melon flavor though. They are sugary and crispy on the outside with a softer center. Almond powder and margarine is used for flavoring. This version of mini cookies is super delicious and would go well with tea, coffee, or a tall glass of cold milk.
