We Now Offer UPS Shipping!

UPS is a very fast and reliable international shipping service, with tracking, that napaJapan offers to selected countries. Prior to UPS we relied solely on Japan Post but the pandemic created lengthy delays and shipping suspensions. UPS uses their own planes and has an excellent network so you can receive your parcel swiftly and in great condition. 

For America bound orders we are seeing about a 4-6 BUSINESS day delivery time. You will likely experience the fastest delivery time if you order on the weekend or at the beginning of the week. This is because we are based in Sapporo and the UPS depot is based in Tokyo. Typically it takes 2 days to process and pack your order. It then takes 2 days to ship to Tokyo. From there it takes 2-3 days to deliver.

We are seeing that orders to Australia will take a bit longer due to the logistics but it will still be faster than Japan Post's express service (EMS.)

If UPS cannot deliver to your zip code / postal code, we will contact you immediately to see if other arrangements can be made. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes.

Attached invoices will show the amount you paid on our site (in US dollars) so in rare cases your country could apply duties/taxes/handling fees to the shipment's value. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer. napaJapan does not cover any additional expenses that could possibly be charged by your country's Customs department.

Tips on making your shipping dollar go further...

We recommend UPS for heavier orders that contain numerous non-bulky treats. If you only want to order one or two items you will find the UPS rate quite high.

UPS sets their rates based on both volume and weight so you will see better value when many smaller items are chosen.

If you do want many bulky items such as potato chips we suggest you also mix in many small items to get your shipping-price-per-item down.
