Komeda is a popular coffee shop chain in Japan that has a popular dessert called Kuro Neige. It is a combination of a chocolate pastry and ice cream. Koeda is a delicate, short chocolate stick made by Morinaga. The name means 'small twig' as the size is similar. Every year it is released in a few unique flavors, depending on the season.
